Location: London (remote)
Expected Hours: 0.5 - 1 days per week; varying as needed (time can be split over the week)
Salary: £20 per hour

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the LNS Trust's communications strategy in support of the overall vision of the company.

• Manage and deliver everyday communications, produce digital content, oversee our website and all social media activities.

• Liaise with LNS scholars and Partners to produce content about the LNS scholar experience and the stories of the individuals and organisations that choose to support us

The Ideal Candidate

This is a creative and proactive role that responds to the LNS Trust's programming with a focus on producing digital outputs across our social media platforms, newsletter and website. We are looking for someone who has the skills and enthusiasm to drive forward a fresh approach to communications for the charity. The key competencies below are the expectations of the role and are not exhaustive.

Key competencies

• Ability to think creatively about content strategy and the ability to develop effective ways of engaging audiences and growing a brand

• A creative and editorial approach, able to generate creative ideas and adapt/repurpose content across social media, email and the LNS website

• Excellent understanding of the LNS brand and tone of voice

• Experience in the production and delivery of digital content (image, audio and film) for different audiences

• Knowledge and experience of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)

• Experience and knowledge of content platforms and/or social media management experience

• Experience of website management and working with CMS (Squarespace), and experience of working with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp)

About Us

The London neighbourhood Scholarship Trust exists to promote a more socially aware and diverse built environment in London through investment in architectural education. We directly tackle the architecture profession’s lack of diversity by awarding architecture scholarships to disadvantaged young people from London’s neighbourhoods, providing the financial means and support for these aspiring architects to successfully perform on a level playing field with their peers. We currently have four LNS scholars, and are looking to offer ten scholarships this year.
